Shoot 3 of Module 2 consists of images which have been ‘happened upon’ while moving between pre-researched locations. As these sites stood out during the course of working and as the weather of the day developed. These contact sheets show images bounded together as bracketed images ready for HDR processes. The bands in green are the chosen combinations to be taken forward for HDR merging and editing. The resulting selected images are visible here.
One of these locations in particular jumped out at me while meandering along a picturesque country lane. The view from the bend swept across a segment of marshland with the Chimney of the former Power Plant towering over the landscape. While here I was approached by the resident of the local house who assumed me to be trying to photograph birds. I would like to return to this location in about a years time after the Chimneys scheduled demolition to show the scene undisturbed by this mark of industrial development.
