Below shows a selection of images from Shoot 2 from this Module 2. The images are of a variety of locations in the towns surrounding Fawley Oil Refinery. The contact sheets for which are visible here.
These images had less in the way of specific intentions for what to photograph or how but were more organic. Locations being stumbled upon while moving around between pre-researched locations.
A large part of the challenge here is in trying to capture the amazing scenes witnessed by my eyes and to depict it in a fashion which serves it well.
Of particular interest here are in the images photographed by the horse pastures. The rugby goal posts featured just to the bottom of the frame are the same location featured in my previous shoot: Fawley August 2019. This overlapping of locations is important as it shows the layers within the communities that both rely upon and loath the Fawley complex.
