Following last nights extremely uplifting peer-to-peer webinar I’m full of ideas and inspiration. I went straight to sketching out the below book design and then went on to make it a reality today. I’m really pleased with it although would like to print a new copy with the ‘mountain’ the other way up inside the book preventing someone from having to turn the book around 180º to view it the way up I intend them to. The first video below is the design book I made right after the webinar.
This next video shows the finished book being looked through by myself. I really love working with this double sided photo paper. While printing I also experimented with regular art cartridge paper but it really didn’t take too kindly to the ink and curled immediately. Although good for trial runs it is definitely not suitable for outcomes.
The next gallery below shows a range of photos of the book. As said previously I want to reprint this and place the ‘mountain’ the other way up. I’m also unsure about what to have as the type at this point in time, or even if type is necessary at all.
