This ‘shoot’ attempted to imitate the curls of waves however I feel that, on first inspection, they are quite weak for this purpose. Possibly a larger format of film would produce a stronger result. This contact sheet first shows all the results together unaltered.

The two galleries below show the refined and adjusted results from this ‘shoot’. The forms which stray away from the waves idea are stronger and, in all cases, the negative examples (black ‘sky’) are the most effective. As mentioned in previous posts, the adjustments were simple yet effective (dodging, burning and inversions).
