For a variety of reasons, largely work and personal, I have not attended the weekly conference for a while. Something in me snapped this week and I went along.
At this point in the programme my engagement has been varied. I’ve continued to produce work and read around the edges of my chosen direction but my engagement with my peers and with the FMP tutor has been minimal. This needs to change and hopefully this will be the start of that change.
I presented a wide range of the imagery I’ve been making so far and these were met with strong feedback. Although my peers may not share my interest in this area of photography they valued the images for what they are.
I need to reflect more in my CRJ as I’ve got really strong ideas for the direction my methodology is taking but the evidence is not necessarily there.
