Following initial film experiments I set about finding a practice which worked for creating these scenes on film out of cling film. First attempts were to lay film out holding it down under a darkroom masking frame and then arranging the cling film and exposing from there.
The method proved difficult to control with normal photographic film as the arranging of the cling film required pure darkness. Although this result has been successful, I feel I’m leaving far too much to chance and am not in enough control of my practice.
