- Your experiences each week and feedback received.
This final week has been stressful in my personal life but I am feeling stronger for having overcome these challenges. My practice has refined itself and the feedback from the final tutorial was incredibly valuable. I feel ready going into this final weekend of production and working before submission.
- Any reconsiderations to the core methodology of your project.
I feel the methodology for this project is set. A working title of ‘Static Enthusiasm’ has been found and nicely replicates ‘still life’ in a way that has fewer connotations attached to it. At the centre of what I do is the decontextualising of subject matter from it’s naturally assumed surrounding. Creating images in a way that involves large amounts of artistic interference to distort and alter what is shown before the audience.
- The forms your project / photographs could potentially take beyond this module.
Beyond this module I would like to work towards a publication supported by a workshop. That workshop would enable individuals to further decontextualise the subject matter and to create the image forms in the ways they desire to. The book would serve as my artistry and could feature blank pages to enable participants of the workshop to include their own contributions to the work making it an almost collaboration of sorts between peoples.
