Module 4 – Week 10 – Independent Reflection

In this weeks webinar I displayed the ‘stage style’ imagery I have been working on with the spotlights and chiaroscuro lighting. These were very well received. This webinar was with a different group to usual so many of the other students in it were not entirely aware of my work or what I have been doing. These ‘new eyes’ on my work were very much appreciated and effective in the. development of my ideas.

• Any reconsiderations to the core methodology of your project.

I can feel my methodology developing nicely but there is still distance to go. The forming of working methods and refined subject matter is certainly making this progress more enjoyable. I feel I have grown greatly this module.

• The forms your project / photographs could potentially take beyond this module.

I am starting to form ideas towards the FMP. I would like my subject matter to be more refined and coordinated. I would like to start approaching museums about the use of their collections to produce images and am excited by the possibilities this may bring with it.
