In responding to the work of Bobby Doherty I decided to create similar scenes to those that Doherty had. Using similar objects and a chromakey blue screen. A reminder of the work of Bobby Doherty is in the first gallery below.
From these images it was my intention to use the colour range function in Photoshop to manipulate the background for my own gains. This was successful in the example of the fruit on the thistle but less successful with the cans. The reflection of the blue in the car was picked up by the colour range selection and then required a lot of fixing to alter. From here I intend to manipulate these images further with changes to the background imagery using other images from this modules work.
