This post outlines and presents some of the images I am considering for exhibition in the next Landings series. These images are shown in the gallery below.
Although online exhibition can be an effective way to operate, I personally love tactile ways of presenting work. This is made a bit more difficult due to Covid. My ‘with bells on’ way of showing the work would be either through light boxes exhibited in a disused shop space so it is visible at night from the street. Negates the need to maintain ‘social distancing’ and creates an object which does not implicate the need to disinfect surfaces. These could be shown in the window of the shop space and draw attention to it at the same time as exhibiting my work.
I have often been attracted to triptychs and so below are two considerations for two sets of images that could be produced for exhibition.
