Out of my first 1:1 tutorial of Module 4 came two research suggestions; Anton Giulio Bragaglia and Petri Anttonen. The works of Anttonen investigate the relationship between photography and time and how that presents itself. The results are some obscurity in the visibility of the subject matter an many akin to the famed works by Dali, ‘clocks’.
I would like to start out by experimenting with post production methods to replicate these effects (liquify tool etc) and move on to movement of objects while conducting a flatbed scan. Further experimentation will come from both camera and object movement during exposures when working ‘conventionally’.
