What possibilities could non-human approaches to image capture hold for you?
My key issue with this question is that, as photography as we know it is a human invention, nearly all forms of photography are man made. Even the writing of a computer code to create life like imagery of people who never existed involves the hand of a human creator at some point.
As for my own practice, I have this week been inspired by the use by my peers of a variety of unconventional methods of image making. In particular I have found inspiration from my own use of a simple flatbed scanner to make images. Module 4 – Week 4 – Activity – Hands off! I would like to pursue this further.
Would you consider putting your camera down and looking elsewhere?
I would consider this if the direction was meaningful and worth my time.
