Following the second webinar I decided to follow advice to strip back and simplify the snake photos. I had always intended to reshoot on black to accompany the white backed images but had wanted to use the same objects and same scenario.
With just the skull and the snake I was set to shoot. To begin with I shot freehand moving onto a tripod for the last sequence of images shown below. Freehand was great as it enabled me to get a range of images but using a tripod last created better images by far. Using my preferred deadpan style, this sequence works well together and experimentations of these images with each-other in triptych form could be a next consideration.
