This selection of images came from the contact sheets for shoot 7 which are visible here. Adjustments were very basic and revolved around slight changes to exposure and deepening of the black in the image. Generally these experiments have been successful and work well to isolate certain areas. The use of extremes in mixed lighting mean that the white balance is very difficult to manage in these images.
The deep warm tones of the tungsten lamps make the flash feel colder than it should. This is something I can work with but is problematic in this particular shoot. I also feel that, where flash has been used, due its modifier, it is too hard and could benefit from softening. I would like to try doing this with soft boxes and shoot through umbrellas but also using the red heads independently without other light sources.
