This set of images were produced in response to Marjukka Vainio and following the week 2 webinar.
The intention was to replicate the same negative space found in Vainios images and was done simply using a black bedsheet spread out on the floor. Honeycombs grids on a reflector create a channeled light which deepens the black and negative space.
The specimens used as past their best and in that regard are not fully in line with Vainios own work however work well for what I am doing presently. I enjoy photographing the wilted flowers more.
