Below are a range of edited images from shoot 8. These colour experiments have definitely been more successful at this point. The use of flash bouncing off of the background from a high angle helps to create a cleaner white. While in other images the direction of the flash helps to create impactful shadows.
The black and white examples of these images are less successful at this stage and are struggling to emulate the work of Peter Lippmann. Adjustments are needed to the greens in the original image to help improve the contrast here. I have attempted these further developments below this image set.
Below are a selection of images with adjustments to the saturation of the Greens within the image. I felt they needed deepening to create more contrast between the background and the subject matter. This makes them more in keeping with the works of Peter Lippmann. I want to take some of these examples forward to combine using methods similar to those of Felicity McCabe.
