Below are a selection of images from the shoot found on this page. With slight modifications to exposure I got rid of the creases in the bedsheet into the darkness. Some inspiration being drawn from the works of Irving Penn and Tom Baril. I want to return to this set up to work more in the style of Tom Baril in coming shoots.

The imagery being returned to here are that of skulls and their conveyance of death and mortality. The presence of plant life is symbolic of the ephemeral nature of life. More reflections on connotation and symbology in art can be found here and here.
