For this fourth shoot of the module I decided to work entirely in film. In previous shoots I have commonly test shot using DSLR before also using film and then presented both of these outcomes. In the previous modules WIPP feedback this was found to have created a weaker WIPP with criticism being laid that many of the images were very ‘samey’.
It’s been quite a few years since I shot film ‘blind’ so to speak, with nothing but a light meter and intuition. Tonight I did just that, shooting six sheets of 5×4″ black and white and a roll of 120 black and white. I hope to develop and scan these over the coming week with results being fed into my CRJ from there. In the mean time here are some behind the scenes phone shots.
