For the second half of this shoot I used a ‘redhead’ tungsten continuous lamp. The barn doors and dimmer box meant that I could manipulate the light within reason to make adjustments. The images highlighted in yellow are where I used the lower barn door to kill the spill of light on the surface of the stool which was underneath the black backdrop.
Further down the contact sheet are images in orange to indicate experiments with different white balances. Any future experimentations with colour film will require a blue filter in order to correct the white balance from the tungsten lamps. Without it this could prove difficult to correct in post production.
