Shoot 2 of Module 2 consists of images which have been ‘happened upon’ while moving between pre-researched locations. As these sites stood out during the course of working and as the weather of the day developed. These contact sheets show images bounded together as bracketed images ready for HDR processes. The bands in green are the chosen combinations to be taken forward for HDR merging and editing.
A particular element which stands out to me are the way that some of these images reflect and look similar to the work of Simon Roberts in We English. These often mundane scenes, such as horses grazing in a field, are transformed into post-modern vistas through the presence of the Fawley Refinery stacks.
