This particular shoot took me to a location I’ve wanted to shoot for a couple of years now. Just outside Southampton there’s a scene which looks strait across the waters towards the major contained port. The scene is river wetlands which is transected by a railway and electricity pylons with the trees of The New Forest and Marchwood Port in the background. This combination of nature and mass industrialisation really sits well with the project.
The presence of pylons isn’t as overpowering as in recent experiments however I would like to move towards scenes without pylons for a while.
